Vintage Handmade Emperor and Empress Ginger Jar Dolls with 100% Silk Kimonos, Multicolor. Includes Wooden Stand, Hand Painted. Purchased in Japan in 1967. From a large collection of vintage dolls.Beautiful condition overall, with some signs of age. Note: One eye on the Emperor is missing. Emperor and Empress silk fabric handmade multicolor ginger jar style figures. The wooden stand is covered in silk fabric with a golden floral pattern and a design on the front (8" x 4 1/2" x 1"). Stunning silk kimonos. Faces are hard body and hand painted. Approx. 6" tall and 20" circumference. This pair is simply lovely and will stand out in any room. Asian Home Décor.
